Oops, haven't been posting articles for weeks now. I'm sorry! Anyway, my LFB mind keeps on working and searching for inspiration. In the past 1,5 month I became obsessed with some things - of course, all related to lifestyle, beauty and fashion. Can't wait to share them with you so keep on reading...
1 - MAC lipstick in Brave
Yep, after waiting for weeks because Brave was sold out all the time, I finally have it. Remember when I told about Kylie Jenners lips? They say this is one of Kylies favourites and I couldn't agree more. It is such a nice and daily colour to wear, like a 'my lips but better' colour. Sometimes it seems like Brave changes colour, depending on my outfit. It has both a warm as a cool undertone, which is kinda rare for a lipstick. I'm wearing Brave (almost) on a daily basis right now!. Brave has a semi-matte (MAC calls it 'satin') finish and lasts for hours, since the lipstick really 'stains' on your lips. I definitely recommend this lipstick when you're looking for a daily, my lips but better colour. And by the way, Brave smells like vanilla (all MAC lipstick do!) so what's not to love about it... MAC Brave is available at all MAC counters for €19.
2 - Zara
I've always loved Zara, but not so much as I do now. Before Zara my wardrobe was filled with clothes by H&M. Lately I'm not really into the clothes H&M offers and besides that, H&M quality is not always as good as it should be.. So, I decided to reward myself (after two horrible exams) with a green coat from Zara and after the coat many clothes followed.. I love the price/quality ratio and the casual chic items Zara offers.
3 - Living a more healthy life
No, I'm not on a diet and I'm not obsessed with healthy living either, I'm just more aware of how small things in your lifestyle can improve your health. It's common sense that everyone should drink at least 8 glasses of water a day and eat two pieces of fruit. Sounds easy, but for me it isn't. However, when I do drink enough water and eat enough fruits & vegetables, I really notice improvements in my skin and hair since I stay more hydrated.
Keeping fit also made me feel healthier and happier. I workout 2/3 times a week (strength training/cardio) and working out really gives me energy.
Last but not least, I make sure I'm aware of what I eat. I still snack sometimes, but not as often as I used to do. Moreover I try to eat as raw and natural as possible. Avoiding unhealthy additions like sugar and E-numbers makes me feel a lot healthier and happier. Just by changing a few things in your lifestyle you can really improve your health. Why shouldn't you try it?
So what are your current obsessions? Let me know in the comments.
Till next time,
Suzan
